Founded in 2020, Pulsar is a gaming peripherals company based in Korea. Typically, the "eS" moniker denotes
variants of already existing Pulsar mice that are specifically catered towards professional play. The eS FS-1,
on the other hand, has no non-eS counterpart, which is unsurprising given that it results from a cooperation
between Pulsar and VAXEE, as VAXEE's entire design philosophy is centered around competitive viability. Still,
the 59 g, solid-shell eS FS-1 is primarily a Pulsar mouse, which is underlined by the fact that it is fully
integrated into the Pulsar ecosystem. As such, the eS FS-1 is equipped with Pulsar's XS-1 sensor capable of
32,000 CPI, which is a customized PixArt PAW3950. The main buttons are outfitted with Pulsar Optical switches
rated for 100 million actuations. Notably, the scroll wheel is made out of a steel alloy. Polling rates of up
to 8000 Hz are supported in both wired and wireless operation, and Pulsar claims up to 160 hours of battery
life, albeit without specifying polling rate. Configuration is done either in software or conveniently through
a web driver.
